Dr. Dacker Kiltner is a professor of psychology at UC Berkeley where he directs the Berkeley Social Interaction Lab. He's also the founder and faculty director of the Greater Good Science Center. His research focuses on the biological and evolutionary origins of compassion, awe, love, beauty, and power. As it turns out, opening our minds to awe and wonder actually sharpens our reasoning and orient us towards big ideas. New insights can help cool our immune systems inflammatory response and even strengthen our bodies.
