There is no candidate on the left in france for this election that looks like coming anywhere close to qualifying for the second round. There are too many of them, and not a single one is managing to impose him or herself as a forceful presence - Sophy petter. The socialist party's candidate is annidelga, who is fairly well known abroad cause she is the mayor of paris. She is in pretty dismally in the polls.
