This week was one of those weeks where I just kept seeing people pointing to new bits of data that I thought were terrifying related to this. The temperature of the top layer of the sea has warmed at an extraordinarily fast rate this year. You will have another forcing mechanism which will be $500 per container, but ships with fewer containers on them,. There will be fewer goods available, which means there will be another pressure on prices. So it's an El Nino slash climate change installation effect.
