The Origin of Electricity

Electricity has been something that's been tickling the minds of humans and physicists for a long, long time. And yet there's still really basic questions about how it works. We have graduated from thinking about electricity as the product of an angry god to thinking about it as a strange invisible fluid that flows through matter. So, you know, maybe it's just a calmer theory of the universe.
