How to Deal With Trauma
Don't say I had a traumatic injury. Say exactly what it was. But leave out the word trauma. It's a destructive word. Another word like that is abuse. You know, she's been married for four years and he hits her with a hammer every couple of days. Please stop using the word abuse in that context.
