The Role of South Africa in the African Economy

The 36th largest GDP and yet the head of the national power company being poisoned by vested mafia interests. South Africa is a society which you know to the least superficial observer seems like a very modernised globally integrated place. The region tends to shrink away from deeper integration it's a little bit like the situation in South America where Brazil's huge dominance also hers put the kibosh on regional integration there.
