The Orange Juice Lady

In 1977, Miami-Dade County held a hearing to amend its human rights ordinance. The orange juice lady got up to testify against the proposed amendment. She said it would cause discrimination against her and other Christians. Eric Marcus: By the end of 1976, 37 jurisdictions had legislated in some way to protect gay people.
