The Resurrection of Sexuality
This is going to be the most contemporary fuco work that we've had in a very, very long time. And it's perfect for the moment as we're raising these new questions about sexual identities and a recognition of trance rights. It does strike me that that the histry of sexuality is very daring in so many ways. But he does say that sexuality is the name that can be given to a historical construct,. not a furtive reality, but a great surface network Of bodies, pleasures, discourses, knowledge and power. The more we understand how this notion of the self has been created, the more we can change it, we we can transform it.
