How to Communicate Science to the Public During the Pandemic
We have to exhibit some common sense. Don't go to or don't hang around people if you have a cold. Maybe don't go into an indoor setting with a thousand different people in close proximity. If you have a hirisk individual in your household, if you're outdoors, do you need to wear a mask? Probably not. The other thing that's really surprising to me is how viciously anti science some people are. We get death threats, horrible emales and messages,. People showing up at our business partners houses. I mean, all kinds of wild things. And it's sad to me. I live in my scientific bubble, and now the level of anti science sentiment
