Democracy - Lessons From the Study of Democracy

We're living in a time when people have questions about the longevity of democracy. What are some of the biggest lessons from your book that can help us navigate the troubled waters we seem to be in right now? I think one of them is that if you look at the range of ways that people have governed themselves more or less democratically over the centuries, there've been a lot of different innovations and investments. And so I think we've lost a lot by not thinking about what we need to do, sort of day in day out to work on democracy to maintain it.
