Is Application the Life of Preaching?
I don't remember the preacher addressing me as kids although I do remember now that I bring it up he did address two young boys acting up in the back row but other than that he didn't. There's a lot of work that goes into preaching and the guy was doing that weekend and week out there's other things too so he probably I know feels sometimes like he's just barely getting enough time to think about what the text actually says. As we think harder about application then we start thinking about specific groups and then oh yes children yeah. If we don't think about concrete ways to help people see this then it stays in the abstract and that's harder to really digest.
