Jason Priestley: Mechanical watches are basically, I feel like one of the last objects on earth that humans make that will last forever. He says a lot of people are really attached to these things and they'd get their grandfather's watch or something when they look down at their wrist. Watchmaker Clickspring takes apart every single watch he sells just to check it all is in working order before putting it back together again. The patience required by high-end craftsman such as this makes them great, Priestley says.
