The Role of Repetition in Psychic Drama
The wandering sonnet is like the seven lines of the like repeated lines and then an answer to the line. I'm thinking about why so many poets use beloveds as plot devices, how that's kind of colonial and shitty when we can make beloveds do whatever we want. The opening and the last line forced me to think through what is not just the origin but where is the sort of trauma of the psychic kind of worldlike getting caught. It made so much sense to me that this had to be a crown because I was going around all these different cities and a lot of things that were happening were like kind of like similar you know.
