The Power of Nostalgia
With Baudrillard, it's as though he wants to only hold on to nostalgia so as to ring some of the, use it in order to elaborate the desperateness of our situation. Even Kant is saying effectively, reason alone is not sufficient to create change or create in the world. Because the passions are right, the powers of the false are far more difficult. Like you can't really always impact them with reason. How do we understand the power of the false to take advantage of that necessity of fiction to do something better? I suppose is the question I'm thinking.
