Is It a Kind of Constitutional Patriotism?
In one interesting essay, you argue that this is a kind of indian form of constitutional patriotism. And so in some ways, i believe it's morally more robust than french or american patriotism. For gandi, he did not privilege religion, and e did not privilege language. Nationalism was not defined by hatred of pakistan to rages to dayis becoming them. But it was defined by an adherence to a certain set of values which the founders of the republic felt would enable india to hold its own in an ever changing world.
