The Passing of the Mantle From Moses to Joshua

Joshua one is a pretty straightforward chapter. It's the passing of the mantle from Moses to Joshua. The Lord basically says, Hey, you know, Joshua, you just heard the law and that night, now you need to keep it by faith. And then verse eight, this book of the law, this scroll of the Torah shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall meditate on it day and night so that you may be careful to do according to all that is written in it for then you will make your way prosperous"
