Kozlowski and Schwartz's Mistrial
Jura No. 4 supposedly flashed an okay symbol to the defense table during a trial in 2004. The New York Post called her a batty blue blood and a granny holdout Jura, going so far as to make personal attacks and reveal her identity. A mistrial was averted after this somehow, but about a week later it was clear that the trial had been compromised. In September 2005, Kozlowski and Schwartz were sentenced to eight years in prison for grand larceny, falsifying business records, falsifying conspiracy,. and securities fraud.
