The Hidden Advantage of Controlling the House of Representatives

Even with a one vote majority, every committee in the House of Representatives will get at least one more Republican than Democrat because you can serve on multiple committees. And so they'll be doing the first draft of the writing in particularly in crucial committees. So it's almost like it works how it should work, and there wasn't some historical accident that created the stupid filibuster.
