Ted Cruz's Argument for State-Regulated Energy Companies
Ted Cruz and Rand Paul got into a real argument on the Senate floor about this legislation. I think at least for my taste, the libertarian position on this is let the market regulate itself. And if consumers really desire this level of transparency and privacy protections, they will purchase devices from manufacturers who include these protections. But yeah, you know, it makes my energy bill go from extremely expensive to just very expensive.
