I Can't Sleep, I Have Insomnia, What Can I Do?
There's something called the allostasis, which is a type of stress response that can happen over longer term exposure. Is there some sort of adaptation or acclimation that the body makes through repeated risk exposure to certain things where, you know, maybe you would have a blunted response to these sorts of foods? If you're always sleep deprived, I don't know. You know, and it's interesting to think... It's easier to study the short term effects of things, but then it's harder to study the effects of persistent chronic exposure to whatever that situation is.
