The Challenges of Road Projects in India
The progress of any road project depends on couple of things. One is your land acquisition. We are not starting the project this decision we took about 4 years back. The second is what we are also looking at is there are various materials that are utilised. When you make roads which are concrete or as we call them rigid surface, availability of cement creates a problem. Unfortunately and this is what I think Nitin Gadakaraji has said time and again. Two industries which do not cooperate. One is steel and other is cement, the formed cartel. So today to get these projects which slide delays are there, you are sorting out land problems.
