In the nineteenth century, a German mathematician came up with an idea of how we ground our mathematical knowledge. He called it 'logic' and said that when formulas are guarnted they're guaranteed to preserve truth. Professor solmes: We can now express everything that we need to express in mathematics. And we can formalize all the proofs.
