"I want in the best possible, sweetest, authentic way to tell you that what you've created has had an immense change in me. Things shifted in me because of the things that you're doing," she says. "My experience with men in this work has been perfect ... Deeply, deeply complicated." 'There are some patterns that I don't want to paint with broad strokes here and say all men are like this or allMen are like this,' he adds. "'We need to address it.' And not just in work but in life as a whole' is his response.'"

Alicia Garza is an American Civil Rights organizer and writer best known for co-creating the international Black Lives Matter movement. Garza has become one of the most influential voices on the planet in a movement centered around the liberation of black people from authoritative systemic violence.
