It takes about 15 to 17 years before an individual has clinical symptoms. By the age of 35, adults with Down syndrome are already having amyloid pet changes that are recurrent. In both Alzheimer's disease and Down syndrome, we saw these deeper areas with these strioidal areas being affected earlier. But one area, the occipital lobe, there seemed to be a little bit of differences.
