Is There a Moral Obligation in Copywriting?
I think there's a good mix of political views among the copy writers that i know. My mentor is a very left winged person, although he's an anti woke left winger. I think if you have a product that can help somebody's life, you have a moral obligation to make him see it that way. There's persuasion in everything we do. So why not just get good at it? Like, why feel bad about being able to persuade people to see things your way? It doesn't make any sense to me.
