Is OTEC the Most Advanced Marine Energy Technology?

The most advanced technologies, the ones that are maybe closest to commercial status, are these title turbines. Marine energy seems to be taking the biggest hit of the industries as sort of the last industry in. This is a new technology where we don't have very many analogs. It's also important to note that it's been really challenging for marine energy developers to get through the permitting process in a reasonable time frame.
