The Customer Success Function at Freshworks

At Freshworks, we realized that we needed a dedicated marketing function in order to engage contextually and meaningfully with our existing customer base. That's when I think we hired our chief growth officer, Arun, who just joined us. And then we were thinking about the entire funnel. So we had marketing functions across corporate. Then we had field marketing. We had integrated campaigns and so on. When we looked at it, we were always focused on the prospect bit of it in some sense. And then to sort of complete the loop, we started setting up the whole customer marketing function.
