There's a good amount of risk in taking equity, especially because if you're taking equity, whether it's advising or investing in later stage companies. You might get wiped out. A lot of these creators, especially on YouTube, have tremendous leverage to run really cool experiments. Do you really want to run a business? Or do you just like the idea of running a business? Cause those are different.
