Introduction

Siege of lakish took place in seven o one b c e. The siege was conducted by the assyrian empire, and it was imposed on the city which belonged to the kingdom of judah. Telakish is an archaeological sight in the chafela region of the modern country of israel. Settlement of this place is believ to have started during the pottery near lithic period.
