Immortals of Avium: A World Building Guide

I have looked into Immortals of Avium. All the lore that I have found so far gives no impression that it is all connected to the real world. There are plenty of issues though that I would not expect from professional work. The weirdest one that I saw was the word for louse is louse. Music is music. It's just a bit strange. So what is going on here? There's no connection to the realworld in the game world that I can see.
