The E-File Mandatory

The e-file threshold has been lowered from 250 to 10. If you prepare 10 or more returns, that's aggregate across all the information returns. It's not each category at 10; when you get 10, you need to e-file. One thing to be particularly careful of is if your clients are using ADP or paychecks and they're filing W2s electronically.
