Colors: Reflections of Trying to Break Out of Singing Hymns
I was just leading a praise and worship at a Presbyterian church. I would learn some of the hymns and then start writing my own pretty much. And colors was one of those that were reflective of trying to break out of just singing that kind of music. Do you remember how it was received? Yeah. It was always received very like pretty well, but there was obvious, this obvious difference between me writing my own song and seeing these old hymnal songs.
