Tesla plans to break ground on its Giga, Mexico factory in three months. The company says the first Gen 3 vehicle will roll off their production line in 18 to 24 months. They have $130 million in tax breaks from Nevada as a part of this expansion project. Tesla had 10,700 vehicles that were insured in China last week.
