Lord of the Rings is still going strong or at least still going. I just think as an MMO, that's the best idea because there's so much you can put yourself into in this role playing world. But unlike say Star Wars, I think not every genre works with the Middle Earth setting. You're probably not going to have a first person shooter or a flight sim or a racing game in Lord of the Rings. So if the license would allow it, you never know what they have permission for,. but something maybe set earlier in the timeline, the second age, like the series.
