How to Get Better at Rational Reasoning on Uncertain Topics

I suspect that people interested in effective altruism often have kind of a talent or an aptitude for critically reviewing evidence for reasoning about uncertain questions. I think if we had more people who are good at reasoning on uncertain important topics hopefully we'll get just like in a better and better position to have clarity about how to think about some of these really hard questions with AI. Those are ideas of like where one's career might end up that I think could be really helpful but I do want to be clear that when I think about careers and especially early careers I am pretty resistant to the frame of like writing down what activity would be most helpful and trying to immediately jump into doing it.
