The Importance of Comfort in the Nineteenth Century

The idea of comfort, it's not a really associated with laziness. Its very muc a middle class er value that concets within the values of the industrad ose. The astronomer's chair was very much designed to function with comfort in mind by astronomers themselves. And i'm able to explain that this is much more than just an accidental a label, but rather represents an entire value system of a certain class of society in western europe in the nineteenth century.
