How Do You Get Started Meditation?

Dr. Scott: I use the work that I've mostly been focused on doing is based on the zogchen kind of philosophy of Buddhism, also known as the Great Perfection. He says all you really have to do is start becoming more aware of what you're thinking in your emotions. And so even if you spend 30 seconds just watching your brain and just observing things arise and watch them pass away. "I'm like any emotion feeling thought activity situation, everything arises and everything passes away," he says.
