There are so many things that have to be precursors to this. I mean this being a kind of a takeover where they kill us. That would be very evident. This idea that's going to happen in an instant or that behind our back. So we're not going to know about it. Nick Bostrom's argument, which I found very compelling was that they'll know how to fool us into not unplugging it. But there is an interesting related point that comes back to the Ted Chang criticism. Some people are uneasy with the idea that the profit motive is what is pushing these technologies forward.
