The Mystery of Being a Member of the Church
St. Paul says if one member suffers anything, all the members suffer with them. There's no such thing as private sin either; we recognize that even if my sin is never ever discovered by anyone else, my sin wounds me. Even though you have personal sin, it's not private. It hurts your brothers and sisters, it hurts me. At the same time concurrently, you're virtue, like you're struggle against sin,. You're struggle for virtue, that strengthens me. When you are strengthened, it strengthens the rest of us.
