Lao: The drug stimulates all the right metabolic pathways, stimulates mitochondria function and metabolism. It inhibits protein degradation that happens with aging. So can we do this with people? We've been giving them the drug intraparatineally. That's an injection into the abdomen. People don't really want that. I applied for a grant to to bring this to people to do a clinical trial from the DoD. And they wrote back, you know, in the review,. where really in favor of Lao's work.
