Cross plan takes advantage of the cobernets reconciliation loop to bring these interstructure components back to life, provision them the first time. In our environment, where we have layer two configurations, you cannot assiageint to the machine to perform the actions that you want without going through a gateway node or like a serial terminal. We don't have an ss provider in this cross plane ecosystem, at least not a fully flushed out one. So we have to take advantage of user data.
