There's an open project to physically build Johnny five from short circuit. The physical nature of Wally is based off of the physical nature of this original robot from the eighties. And so even if it is completely removed from being human, it will still now be able to be possible to create these entities that have a nostalgia standpoint and feel like they're alive.
