The British Parliament set the rules by which the British East India Company behaved. It was a private company, although stockholders were wealthy people. But because it had the monopoly, French attacked it. So as they are coming, they need to be trained how to govern. They have to learn the languages of the local people. That's how the East India Company training of civil servants becomes the heart of Bible translation. How does God want this to govern India?
