The History of Mars

The idea that there was both active water and life on Mars really excited the astronomy community at the time. Percival Lowell founded one of the world's greatest observatories on a 7,200 foot mountain peak near Flagstaff, Arizona. The Lowell Observatory is known as the home of Pluto because this fucking telescope was used to discover Pluto in 1930.
