Is Calvin University a Christian School?
Calvin is a Christian school that's denominationally, associated with the University of the CRC. Professor Kristen Cobes-Dumey has written extensively about what's going on at Calvin and how it relates to academic freedom. A lot of seminary professors have much more emphasized the traditional historic view on sexuality than have been pushing for an affirming view. That's a big difference between in the RCA Western seminary where Jim Brownson taught.
