Prosecutors delivered their opening statement in the sentencing trial of nicholas cruze, the gunman who killed 17 people at ischool in parkland, florida. Police are crediting an armed bystander with ending a mass shooting at a molle in greenwood, indiana by killing the suspected gunman shortly after he opened fire. Many more people would have died last night if not for a responsible armed citizen that took action very quickly within the first two of the shooting. His actions were nothing short of heroic.
A record-breaking heat wave is currently washing over Europe. In parts of Britain, the mercury has hit a freakishly high 100 degrees Fahrenheit or more.
