The Silent Planet

There's a sense that there's something gloomy. Part of that has to do with the fact that this is the silent planet. We are in the silent planet, and there's a shroud kind of a veil anticipating it. It's not at all dissimilar to, to Heart of Darkness, Joseph Conrad's book,. And I think Lewis is achieving a similar effect.
