Claudia andjahn was a Brazilian photographer who documented the yanomami. She helped to draw attention to attempts to divide up the yanumami in 19 89. Now there are more than 20,000 gold miners living on her land. Chris feliciano arnold is a specialist writer on indigenous communities. He tells us how claudia's work has influenced our understanding of brazilian history.
