When i started he second head ship, we had quite a number of new subject leaders who were taken on. And looking back, one of the first things i said to was, don't try and do anything yet. Just make sure that you knowof the subject inside oup. You have to earn that credibility by knowing wha yo're talking about. There's really interesting er phenomenon called boss competence, which contributes to trust.
