Vegan Vegetarian - I'm Going to Stop Vegetating and How Did It Change?
I was a vegetarian for 10 years. I developed an autoimmune disorder called ITP, which is where your body attacks your platelets and you can't clot. My mentor pulled me aside and he said, you can't like your 24. He's like, this is a disaster. Your toes are purple. Your skin's a mass. You have to eat a steak. So I went and ate a steak. And it was so funny because that night I wanted to climb the walls. I hadn't had red meat in 10 years. The next day my blood test came back as being type O - basically carnivorous. But unfortunately, they were all types of cancer-causing viruses.
